Research Material

The following informal bibliography, containing many links, points to sources for further research.  Additional sources are included beside Biblical Studies. Some of the material is difficult to categorize under a specific subject heading -- themes overlap within the Catholic Faith. Therefore, indulgence is sought from the readers. Moreover, this is not an exhaustive bibliography; many useful treatises will be absent. The majority of the sources listed are taken from the Director's personal library.

Prudence should be exercised here: some material may have certain defects, but has been included because such material is still valuable for research purposes. Non-Catholic sources are marked *. Collaborative efforts by Catholics and non-Catholics are marked #. St. Paul's inspired advice from 1 Thessalonians 5:21 applies: "test everything; hold fast what is good." Please note: inclusion of a source is not an endorsement of its entire contents or attached home page; all material must be scrutinized in light of Catholic Tradition via the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. As well, prior to any endeavor of theological study, one ought to consult his confessor or spiritual director for guidance.
